/Make-up/ NYC High Definition Separating Mascara

this was purchased by me.

I know I've been gone a while...like two weeks. I was busy with school and packing for a week long trip that just ended a few days ago (my life is forever changed!). I'm back with a copious amount of time to blog about pretty things. I picked up this NYC mascara last month because Rite Aid was having a buy one get one free on NYC cosmetics and I wanted to try a mascara that would give me length and definition instead of volume.

/Lips/ American Apparel Micromesh Lip Gloss

this was purchased by me.

I got this lipgloss a few weeks ago when I purchased some jeans from American Apparel. I wanted free shipping (for orders of $50+) so I added this to my cart because I've been wanting to try their lipgloss. I picked this color, Micromesh, because it was a bright, hot pink and I was hoping the color would show up on my lips.

/Hair/ Touch-up'd

After the Clairol hair color faded, my roots were visible again and I figured it was time to dye my hair again. I picked up the L'Oreal hi-lift ash brown (in depth-review here!) again.

I knew that this would be good to cover my roots and I happened to have a coupon for a L'Oreal hair dye. Here's the results two days after coloring:

no visible roots~

I really like this hair dye because it performs well and is available at a nice price. Even though my hair isn't really an ash brown, I'm pleased that it's a medium-light brown shade that isn't brassy and looks rather natural. The only complaints I have are that it irritated my scalp a little and had a very strong, slightly tear-inducing chemical scent. Overall, good to lighten dark hair, especially dark and thick hair like mine, in one step.

/Lenses/ GEO Flower Plum Brown Circle Lenses

More circle lenses!

I don't know why that makes me so excited. Circle lenses have become a thing for me, even if I don't wear them all the time...So, I got this pair from Korea Big Eyes during their holiday sale during December-ish last year. I paid $8 for them along with a few other lenses and the shipping was free this time. These are GEO Flower Plum (AKA Coco) series of lenses which feature a pretty floral pattern on the edge of the lenses.
